Bill and Ginny Schaffstall catered their first party back in 1980. They volunteered to provide the food for a sports banquet at their son's elementary school. Although it was a simple menu of a few side dishes along with Ginny's famous pasta in red sauce, it knocked everybody socks off. After tasting the food, everyone in attendance encouraged Bill and Ginny to share these tempting dishes with the rest of the community and open up their own catering business.
In the summer of 1981, Ginny's Catering Corp. was created. After three years of off-premise catering, they set up headquarters on North American Drive in West Seneca. Ginny Catering has catered thousands of functions and nearly 1 million people have enjoyed Ginny delicious food. Today, they are still located in West Seneca and have established a reputation for providing great food at reasonable prices.
